Rotary Fundraisers

Picton Rotary endevours to support our causees via District Grants as well as funds raised in the Shire.

Our most recent grant was received on behalf of Bushfire Victims Bargo Dingo Sanctuary & Australian Wildlife Sanctuary who were both devasted when the Green Wattle Creek Fire burnt their site out on 19th December 2019.

Infrastructure, signage, trees, irrigation & much more were totally decimated.

Picton Rotary on behalf of the 2 not for profit sanctuaries applied for assistance with the help of Past District Governor Di North to the RAWCs Bushfire Relief Fund. Rotary Clubs all over the world contributed to this fund and we were delighted in May 2020 to be able to award the Sanctuaries $50,000 each to begin repairing and move towards getting the site ready for visitors.

Australia Day

Picton Rotary caters at a variety of events across the shire.

Our largest annual BBQ is Australia Day celebrations at the Picton Botanic Gardens where we support Wollondilly Shire Council providing breakfast and lunch to over 5000 attendees. They also enjoy lamingtons & coffee/tea/water.

Donations are collected & 100% of generated funds go back to a nominated group from the community throughout the year.

General Fundraisers
