Picton, NSW, Australia is situated approx 80 kms south west of Sydney. We are one of 12 villages and localities in the beautiful Wollondilly Shire.
On this page you will find information on our club, our fundraising activities and current service projects we are in the process of completing.
Our group also enjoys a robust Social Program which is a great way for new members to explore what we do and who we are.
Take the time to check out our site and explore the club, our friendly members and explore the possibility of becoming a member.
U Turn the Wheel - Target ZeroWe are currently committed to a 3 year Driver Education Program to reduce road fatalities, near misses and loss of license in our youth sector.
This program is in response to the tragic accident in September 2022 whereby 5 youth were killed in Buxton.
650 Wollondilly Anglican College & Picton High School students from Years 10, 11 and 12 were put through a robust and sometimes confronting education day covering Drink and Drug Driving, Speeding, Sharing the Road with other users and Safe Passenger choices.
Supported by Macquarie Fields Highway Patrol, Be Street Wise, Next Gear Driving and Cawdor Haulage the students took in a lot of information.
This project is funded for 3 years by South 32 Illawarra Metallurgical Coal and Wollondilly Shire Council, delivered by The Rotary Club of Picton.
Manpower supplied in partnership with Wollondilly North Rotary Club , Picton CWA and Macarthur Rotaract.
